I did find <A href="http://store.summitracing.com/eproduct.asp?N=120+4294925239+4294925135+308353" target=_blank>this one at summit for ~$300.

Anyone have other sources for picking up a rebuilt q-jet?

Thomas.

There is a place called SMI Carburetor that sells them. ~$320 IIRC
If I ever get a "new" carb that's where I'm going to get it. If you go to the website you can fill out a page that has all your vehicle info and they build the carb to suit your application.

If you dont like those

I have a rebuilt Q jet sitting in my shop. It has been bagged and on a shelf for many years. It was never ran after I rebuilt it so the gaskets should still be in good condition. It should run fine but no guarentees.
Carb is off 1980 Chev truck 350 CID. I just pulled it down and checked it out. It still looks good. Gaskets are still soft.
PM me if your interested. Its going on Ebay soon.

I am running this one which is 260.00 plus shipping Clicky

I bought the Jet Performance 800 cfm stage 2 quadrajet from Jegs and am very happy with it. The BG 750 was sucking gas in the blazer 2 mpg. The quadrajet gets me 8 mpg in the burb.

If anyone is interested I have an Edelbrock Q-jet #1910. It's the Performer RPM model with 850 cfm. Im willing to part with it for $300

There's a local place that a most everyone swears by. No more than $175. Old man that runs the place is the authority on Q Jets. Been rebuilding them for 20+ years. I would think Austin would have a place similar. Support your local economy :waytogo:
