If cheapest is the goal then go get some sort of universal stick with an adjustable stop or trim it..
If the level in it is good just stick a random stick down it, hash it with a file then drill two small holes in it and cut it to length. That's how I did mine because I wasn't paying 60+$ for a dipstick. They lost their minds.
I never got to go salvage yard hunting today..was 85 degrees and the boneyard is like a desert under blue skies so I decided not to go ,plus I had other things to do..
It's not a high priority item--I agree with 454Sub,the prices are ridiculous for a new one ,some stores here do have the Spectre chrome junk ones for $15,but I can braze a bottle cap or freeze plug to my existing stick if I had too..I'll come up with something one way or another...
