I noticed my truck is missing it's warning buzzer up underneath the dash.

Anyone know where to get replacements?

The big question would be WHY? lol, someone got tired of it and yanked it out.

Maybe Try LMC and/or junkyard. Or someone here may have one that gutted their dash and stuff

You could probably find a dozen or so in the edge of my yard. For years I was the go-to guy when a fellow bought a new truck.
They would drive it to me to get it removed.
At first, I would track it down and pull it out and throw it away. Then, they started integrating it with other stuff, and I would have to remove it, modify it, and put it back in.

I took one out, hooked up a couple of leads, made an electrical leak detector with it. Had it for 30 + years now, came out of Dad's 75 Impala he bought new.

buncha comedians in here!

I thought it might be nice to have it back in there so I can follow this totally original theme I have going.

I can't seem to find them any where for sale.

It "MIGHT" help if you listed what year , make and model you need. Im sure someone has one laying around.

it's a 91 K5.

I'm wondering if anybody just has a part number?

I doubt it, most ppl yank those out or just leave me. not many replace them. Try also ROCKAUTO.com.

Did some research and found a part #:

GM 14036201

These are discontinued and all the units I found were between $40-70.

You guys should have kept all those buzzers you pulled for friends!

I was able to track one down for $25 though.

I recall a comedian having an entire skit based on those "annoying little car buzzers"..
He said "Ever notice NO ONE ever replaces these things??--no one ever comes into a parts store and says "I'd like one of these annoying buzzers please"!..--
And ,if you go to a junkyard and see an old car thats sat there 20 years and you decide to buy & restore it--the first thing you hearwhen you stick a battery in it is that dam annoying BUZZER!....I hunt them down and beat them to death in every new vehicle I get!"...:D

I remember my dad hated those buzzers--one day he got a new company car,a 1976 Ford Torino wagon--its buzzer drove him nurs,so I found it and unplugged it...next day he discovered the horn no longer worked!;;I put it back in,and the horn worked again--evidently its wired into the horn curcuit somehow!..so I left it plugged in,with the door open,it screaming its annoying little tune--and I poked it with a small screwdriver and let the smoke out, then it was blissfull silence--and the horn still worked!...

I think the junkyard is the best place to shop for one if you must have one....when I worked at one some days we'd plug them into the wall socket and watch them go
"AHHHHHHHH--POP "!..car horns sound awsome on 110V AC too,--for about 3 seconds anyway!...we had a lot of fun during lunch hour setting off old air bags and blowing things uo!...:D
