Where to get cheap (read inexpensive) lugnuts

so a few weeks back i picked up a set of hurricane or vector wheels, (whatever you prefer to call them) and they require the flat shank lugnut with the washer. I thought i had some, but they are not the right size. so off to Summit and Jegs, but my jaw hits the floor. $60 approx for a set, or priced approx $4 individually. makes me wanna re-think mounting the wheels.

does anyone know where to buy some lugnuts for a little less than that? they are goin on a 1989 Z71, so i need the 14mm ones:confused:

i bought the same rims and tires and remember paying 1.50 a lug a the local tire place. just shop around. i sold them with the rims though so i dont have them anymore :( i think i have one :D

well cheep and lugnuts and big tires should not be in the same category. its not worth it in the end.

to be totaly honest go get a set of mcgaurd thay will last forever and the chrome holds up vary good.

i got my last lugnuts from a&a auto out here.its like a high performance shop.they have a bunch of stuff on the wall from brush guards to carbs.anyway i got them for i think 5 bucks a pack of 4.so for my app i paid like 50 bucks for my 3/4 ton conversion lugnuts.thats for standard acorn lugnuts,so specialty nuts like you need would maybe be more as you stated.i would do as suggested and go to a wheel shop as they buy their stuff in bulk and maybe can cut you a deal on them.junkyard is always an option, but most i see around here take the wheels and tires off that are good and who knows where the lugnuts went.
