Got a '98 Jimmy and the springs are shot, badly. Rear of truck sits lower than front and the springs are warped.

I'm looking for either stock springs with a bit stiffer rate than stock. Or some aftermarket springs to lift it 1" or so. Not looking for huge noticable lift over stock.

Who makes them or where can I find some?:dunno:

dont know about 98's (even though i own a 99's:doah:) but my uncles 88 s10 jimmy sagged. he just put a set of add a leafs in and it brought it up about an inch over stock and rode great. he had it 4 or 5 years after that and it was still sitting good. :dunno:
Edit; I didnt see the warped part. try here. looks like they are the same as 1/2 ton pickups.

I'm aware of add-a-leafs but the springs are warped on the main leaf by the eye bushing ends just where the ends of the 2nd leaf under the main ends at.

I'll get pics of them soon...

I took mine off the lil blazer and took them down to a shop and had them re sprung plus added a leaf to the back. They added 8" of lift from where they where at. 200.00 off the truck or 400.00 still on:waytogo:

Rearching is obsolete technology. Good way to get a bad ride that sags after a while.

Well it depends how they do it, if they just rearch them and let you go, yeah they will go bad quick, but if they treat them (I believe it's shot peen) then they will last longer, it's just like when they make springs, there is no difference.

I would look somewhere local for springs. Expect to add $100+ for shipping from any of the internet companies
