where to get step "hoops"

Me wife needs a step on the k-5, and to tell ya the truth my door would greatly appreciate it. The only step I like are the chrome or stainless "hoops."

I know CARR brand makes them but I got them, opened them, and took them back. I didn't care that the mount on the rocker and the aluminum polish looked horrid. The Bulley adjustable isn't my taste either.

I like the old Steel Horse hoops but can't find them. Anyone know where? Is there anyway to get them from mounting steps on the body?

Build some rocker sliders, then put the hoop(s) on those.

There is a spendy one out there that drops down when the door opens and pops back up when it closes. A friend put one on the pass side slider of a customer's truck such that when it's up the slider hangs lower than any of the step.
