Where to get TH400 steel pan, not chrome, not deep pan?

I need a steel pan for my TH400, not chrome and not deep pan. Anyone know where to get one? Or if I get a chrome one from summit can I weld to it or not? Thanks!

get a deep aluminum one from summit...

there thick aluminum...

there good quality...

I don't really want a deep pan though. I think I will have problems w/ exhaust and driveshaft. I also am going to have a temp fitting braized into it.

so then get the aluminum non-deep one...
you can have a temp sensor on the tranny output line... best place for it... The pan would be nice too but I wouldnt want a wire hanging down...
If you dont cre about the extra capacity get the alum non deep one.
i donno where to get a metal one other than dealer or pic a part
