Where to get the Front Upper Shackle Hanger bushing

I got Energy Suspension polyurethane ones from Summit when I replaced mine.

My local truck spring shop had them for like 15 a side. Included new bolts and shackles too

Buying the bushings is the easy part...installing them is when the fun starts. Leaf springs are loaded, and removing only the back shackle bolts while any king of load is on them, will cause them to pop off like a bullet.

You pretty much have to get all the weight off of the springs, and remove the entire diff from the springs, in order to make sure the springs are completly unloaded before you unbolt anything.

I am sure there are some kind of quick cuts around this, but if any device you use to keep the spring loaded and in place lets go (such as a floor jack), you better get out of the way fast so your face does not get torn off.

Huh? I've taken bolts out of the springs plenty of time with them partially and even fully loaded (by mistake). The worse that happens is the spring bottoms out on the frame rail...

The best method is a bottle jack between the frame and the spring.

I wish you lived nearer to me because I would pay you to install a set of frame busings on one of my trucks that needs some.

I do not feel like going through the hassle of taking a bunch of stuff apart for a couple of little little bushings, and I also do not feel like going through the balancing act of dealing with loaded springs; and whatever device I use to keep the springs loaded while trying line up the bolt holes.
