where to mount tow hook

Just wondering where u guys mounted your tow hooks on your blazers, i have an 84 and a stock bumper and trying to figure out where to mount it. thanx

Front or back? For the rear I use a class III reciver hitch. I take out the reciver and run the pin through the loop on the strap and pin it in place. It works great for me.

When pulling from a reciver setup, be sure to take out the reciver hitch. In the even the pin shears the reciver will become a large projectile that will fly at the other truck. This is not good at all!!!!!

im mounting it in the front, doesn't anyone have pics of thier tow hook setup

The easiest thing to do is just get a set of factory tow hooks for your year of K5, pickup, or Suburban. The holes are already in the frame so you can bolt on a set in about 5 minutes.
