i got my lights today /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif and can't think where i want to put them. they are procomp 6" 100w.

#1. on the front bumper centered together.

#2. weld some angle iron to the back of the cab and put them directly above the driver and passenger.

3#. other ideas. i dont have a roll bar or plan on putting on in.

show me some pics

If you only have 2 lights , I say the bumper. I had 2 on top of truck and thought it was ugly and no matter how hard I moved them , they would not point down enough. It was great to see a mile away , you just couldn't see in front of you. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Put 'em on the bumper. I think it looks good when they're spaced about 2 feet apart. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif Plus, that'll still give you enough room to stand in the middle of the bumper for reaching stuff in the engine compartment.

Snap a pic if you can when you're done, and post it on Ultimate 4 Wheel Drive Performance's forum (where you won them from)...that'd be cool.

I like 'em on the bumper.
Here is a pic of mine -- you can kind of see the lights on there /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

put em on the bumper. i think they look best spaced about a foot apart, but makes more sense to space them 2 feet so you can get under the hood.

If you put them on the roof that just the more you loose in a roll

I alwasy liked when they mounted the at the bottom corner of the windshield on the fender or with brackets, the look - supercool - and you can finagle them with your hand when doing the off road thing in the darky dark

i bought a grill guard out of the paper for 20$ and put them on there

looks nice

cool pic. Is that west mountain on the road up to the observatory?

It is west mountain but not on the main road. It is the old road that goes right up the ridge. Nice to have wheelin spots within a couple miles /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

i only have two /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

im thinking about putting them where the bumper mounts to the frame.

i gotta take the plow mount off (damn po welded it to the frame /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif) and move the bumper back 3 inches where it belongs and then i can mount them and get pics. /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif
