$200 at the local pick&pull. 3.73 locked and ready to go, 90-day warranty.

probably gov-locked I imagine. Junkyard 3 miles away wanted $850 for the same axle, same year. I was only looking for a replacement cheap because my R&P was trashed in my 10-bolt.

where are you located in virginia ?

$850 for a 14 bolt is ridiculous, they basically give them away out here. I think I paid $120 for mine with a 3 month warranty, got to love California and its lack of weather/rust

Found d44 8lug out of a 87 chevy 4x4 with manual lockouts on craigslist for $50.

Basically going to sand down and paint them, change the oil and they should be ready to drop in.

Using 10-bolt calipers and pads (pads only replaced last week!).

Ordered napa P/N 447 conversion joint to mate my stock shaft to the 14ff rear.

Have new grade 8 ubolts for both and rear, new spring plates for rear.

Have 32 brand new lugs and 6 replacement studs, just in case.

Have 4 8-lug generic steel rims with 285/75-r16 michelins ($20/ea mounted from junkyard) in great shape (more than 80% left tread)

Grease gun is fully loaded.

That should be it and ready for install by the weekend. Thanks CK5 search engine, don't think I could have done it without you :)

Oh and picked up caddy calipers and an extra set of front 8-lug chevy rotors. Have DIY 14b brackets ordered should be here before the weekend hopefully for discs in the rear.

Wow around here 14bff at pull it yards go for $75-$100 but they are a dime a dozen around here you can always find one
