What antenna should I get and where should I mount it. Any good web sites to buy hardware at? Give me your ideas. Thanks.

Where can you buy the steel whips at? I have looked at a couple of different sites that sell CB equipment with no luck at finding one. Thanks.

Radio Shack also carries a stainless steel off road whip. Its a bit shorter and more manageable. Put it on a spring and a ball mount right on the rear quarter.

Why do people keep calling it a Bronco!!!!!

Just got back from the CB shop and man did I learn alot. Okay this is my current set up. Midland 77-285 with the hi and low channels and the power turned up. 18' coax and firestick mounted on the rear bumper. I now have my radio detuned with a linear 3' jumper, 18' clear coax, steel antenna, (2) ground wires from base to frame,and a power mike. This is the set up suggested to me from a shop. He said I would easily talk 15 miles. I know have a firestick 4' and 9' of (new never opened) coax forsale.

how much did all that cost? how much do you want for the fire stick? can you tell me what the difference is with these? do they have a mount? and what would i need them for excatly?
 
Any cb would work with the linear. It was $139. the coax $21 the antenna $20 the power mike $20
