im no longer happy with the red top,

ask any auto zona and alot seem to get warrentied out,

I have had 2 go to hell, and my dad just had a return one in his daily driver after just a year..

then again the once in his dodge is 8 years old and still going


these are all your basic cheap red tops

Not the first time I have heard this, makes me wonder if the new ones are cheapo. Mine is an old one, have had it for years.
 
I vote for none of the above. I think Optimas are overpriced. You pay for stuff that most people don't need, like being able to mount them on any angle. Most people don't need that feature.

Go get yourself an Interstate Mega Tron, and if you really want it to stand up to a lot of wheeling and vibration, get the Interstate Workaholic.

THe Workaholic is the best battery I have ever seen, and nearly half the cost of a fancy dancy Optima.

So the optima red tops just quit working? Wonder why optima would start to make defective batteries. This concerns me, maybe I shouldn't get the red top I've been planning on. :crazy: I need to figure out something soon.
