I need to get a dana 60 steering arm for crossover steering, which arm are you guys using? There's a thread on this with a poll but I searched and cant find it :doah:. This will be regular crossover, I might do hi steer in the future.

Thanks

Ive got the Sky Manufacturing arms on mine

NWF here. I like the NWF design because the arm has a rise in it that easily clears 52" springs.

I'm using ORD stuff on mine.I like em,but when I bought my stuff they were about the only ones around.I have a buddy that is using Blue Torch Fab arms on his and they are pretty nice.

I'm using the Sky arms, but would definitely jump on the Ballistic Fabrication double sheer arms. Those things are awesome...As well as the Mad Rooster arms that allow you to set the preload on the kingpins. And finally the Mike's parts arms...great reviews on them & prices are very reasonable.

My #1 choice would be the Mad Rooster arms.

which of these companies make the arms so tierod is behind the axle, would that help the knuckle live longer?
NWF is one company that makes the steering arm your looking for, but there are several other companies that make double reverse hi-steer arms. That would have no effect on the knuckle surviving longer, its still a lot of stress in the one area

Well thanks for the suggestions guys I was thinking of going with the ballistic fab arm (not the double shear) but after talking with my brother's friend who's a machinist, I will be able to use the arm that came with my dana 60. It was custom made, but designed for Heims, my bros friend will machine the taper for me. Thanks anyway
