ok got new suspension, ordered the slip yoke eliminator and moved both axels out 1.5" each direction. now where should i get my drive shafts? i want ones that are great and will last a good long time. basically what everybody wants. i just dont know what to ask, or look for. so help me out guys i dont really know too much about this aspect:bow:

I just did the sye conversion myself. I ordered a new driveshaft from Advance Driveline in Orlando, FL. I thought they were reasonable. Cost me $300 for a whole new driveshaft with u-joints. I just bolted it up. Took 1 day to make and it arrived the next day by UPS. Very helpful there too. I think they are online.

Yeah you could find a shop in your area that does custom work and have one built. If ya got the $$ and want the best give jesse a call at highangle driveline. :D

I use Tom woods for all of my driveshaft needs.

He has treated me well over the years. The last rear shaft I had lasted 5 years in the back of my buggy with no maintenance besides grease. It really took a beating.

Jesse at high angle has a good rep as well.

Since you are in Florida you might want to check around to see if someone more local than Woods or high angle can help you. Shipping of driveshafts cross country gets expensive.

I see your over here by Pensacola. Call Steve at steve off road. He has been in this area so long he can help you out

Finding a local place shouldnt be too hard. Locally, I can get standard shafts made for about $300.

Shop does bug truck pulls... they know what they are doing.

I know the 'internet' drive shaft companies sell real nice products... but, damn are they expensive.

Support your local ecomomy and find a local driveline shop.
Expect to pay $2-300 bucks. Spicer u-joints are my choice.
