Which engine should I use?

Ok I have to make a decision soon on which engine i should use. I have a freshly rebuilt 350 I planned on using in my jimmy, but my wifes car (93 caprice)engi
ne (350) is getting a little tired, (198,000 miles) So I am thinking of putting the rebuilt 350 in the caprice and using the tired engine in the jimmy (trail only rig). Of course I will put new bearings and rings in, but thats it. What do you guys think? Should I make the wife happy or shold I put the fresh engine in the jimmy?

If you need to pull it anyway to swap it , why don't you re ring the Caprice .

Put the rebuilt in the Caprice to make the wife happy, but then stick a fiesty crate engine in the truck. Everybody wins!

I would put the rebuilt in the ol ladys car and rebuild the LT1p from the Caprice and put it in your truck. Great truck engine! Roller cam. 9.2 CR torque building swirl port heads. ..... Or ditch the heads and get a set of L98 heads and a mild cam for better performance.
Dont get rid of that caprice engine it is a very good unit.
BTW I am assuming that your truck is fuel injectid beings you want to do the swap.

Well its not injected yet, but it will be as soon as I find all the parts.
