Sending unit on my 73 is bad. LMC sells 3 output and 4 output. I will obviously know which one I have when I drop the tank but if I order it then, truck is undriveable for a week unless I want to put the tank back in just to take it out again. Any way to know without dropping the tank which one I have/need?

look in the pass side rear wheel well at the rear area were the fuel filler neck is . you can prob just see in there to possibly count the lines . i just did a blazer tank job but it had a 1.5" body lift also .

otherwise find a local auto shop with a borascope camera and have then look up inside the gap between the body and frame . hopefully they dont ask for anything or a few bucks .

Or maybe your phone will fit up there to take a pic/video. Could also count the lines you see coming from the tank and fill neck area.

On a blazer it is easy to see the top of the tank from under neath looking at the tank.
