What do you think about Trickflow,World(sportsman II), Edelbrock. I need to decide which would be best heads for the 383 I'm building. Any info would be appreciated. Like good experience/bad experience. Thanks

I have the edelbrock's on a car I have wwith 350 and I am happy with them. I noticed a significant power increase when I put them on. I was originally gonna get trick flows but summit gave me such a run around wwith them I ordered the others. They had casting problems or something like that. I guess they fixed all that now though.

I had a set of the trickflow cool heads work good but!!! it more than a pain to replace the plugs and very hard to find ant type of exhast manfolds that will even work due they way the plugs are placed!

I understand the jeep thing I drive a BLAZER!!

Yeah, I´ve heard nothing but good things about the AFR´s. What´s your budget on this 383?

AFR'S all the way but expect $1200+ that was about 3+ years ago when I priced them. For a K5 I'd go trick flow and buy a dremel with mounds of sand rolls and clean them up "nice and pretty like!" and save a couple hundred and put the money elsewhere. I don't think that kind of money for something not raced is worth the money. Go cheaper and get lower gears. You'd be more pleased plus your truck would appreciate the lower hp.

Love, Peace, and Hair Grease...........
