OK guys I need yall's opinion, I'm stuck going high steer on my k20, so I need new high steer arms. I have no choice since the previous owner cut off the lower tie rod mounts and all the holes are 3/4" and I want to run tre's to be safe for street use.

The specs from the rig as of now are :

10 bolt front with flattops and high steer ( I want a 60!)
sky drag link w/ 1ton tre's
1 1/2" x .250 dom tierod with 3/4" x 3/4" hiems
6" of lift
fox 2.0's with custom hoops (coming soon)
ord 12" lift brake lines
39.5x15x16.5 tsl's with bushwhacker fender flares.
Ord steering brace
2wd box tapped for hydro assist
rock logic hydro assist ( I have a 1.5 x 8 ram now but a 1.5 x 6 is o it way)

Id like to run my set of zero rates as well and gain some approach angle while getting the tires out of the firewall. The current setup allows the tirerod clear the leaf springs by maybe a 1/4" due to the misalignment spacers but, this is while its still on the jack stands at full droop. I know that if I add the zero rates at the 1 1/2'' forward position I'm gonna have issues with the tire rod hitting the arch of the spring and will need a taller arm or a spacer. I've also been considering reverse high steer crossover but haven't found much on it for dana 44 outers. Im guessing due to strength issues. Any iput on this as well is appreciated.

Also, this truck is not a crawler, its too clean to bash it. It will be used for dd duties 80% of the time and recovery / mudding/trials 20%.

Seems my options are:
ord
sky
btf
nwf <<< these look sweet:bow: buy are $$$$:eek1:
or??????

heres a pic of the project.

Thanks guys,

If your not going to offroad it, why not just get a set of knuckles from a junk yard?

Two reasons. I do wheel it, I just don't bash it. Most local trails are mud and small hills or beach since im right on the gulf coast. This trucks more of a beach truck and to go goof off with my friends since everyone around here plays in the mud. I have a 1 ton k5 for the hard stuff. I had the factory setup with a raised steering arm on the 10 bolt i just removed and hated it with passion! The other is that while its not a trail only truck I like the more precise feel and control of the steering with crossover.
THIS TRUCK WILL GO OFFROAD ITS NOT A STREET QUEEN!

Thanx for the idea tho,

There's also WFO, http://www.wfoconcepts.com.

I actually got my D44/10b arms from a place almost local to me, selected as (1) they had the highsteer arms, and (2) they're one day UPS from me =))

that should bring you to the D44 steering page, which of course also applies to our 10b. Note that highsteer for these axles tends to be a Jeep thing, as the fullsize crowd general wisdom is that if you need highsteer you need a D60. Whatever.

I don't remember if I got the "long" or "short" arms -- I don't recall there being a choice when I ordered mine -- but I can measure mine should you require it.

Note that I went with the 52" spring swap up front, so my setup is somewhat different from yours. Because the springs are less arched than a lift spring, I believe I have clearance across the entire range of motion.

Anyway, just throwing out some ideas. You *could* space the steering arms up, but that's ... scary. There are also taller arms... oh, Trevor has them:

Which might do well for you.
