Which line on Th350 is return and pressure?

Ive searched this and have gotten more confused. Which line on the tranny is going out and which is going in(transmission)? Also then which fitting on the rad would be considered the inlet and outlet? Need help BTW this is a TH350.

top line on the case is return

hot oil should go in the top of the radiator and cool oil returning from the bottom of the radiator

Pan, hot side or cold side will give you the extreme temps. You need a more general temp

well is their any down side to me putting it on a line? Isnt it important to see what the fluid is doing at the return line?

If you want to put it in line, I would put it in the lower line, that would let you see what your worst case scenario is.
