Duramax, Powerstroke, or Cummins? I'm thinking Dmax. Want to replace 454 in '80 K30 with Diesel powerplant. Anyone know the weights of them?

Thanks.

If you are picking out of these three, the Dmax should be the lightest with some aluminum parts in it, the PS would be a close second.

I'd do a Cummins or Duramax and not worry about the weight difference. A PowerChoke would be blasphemy:mad::mad: :D

i've heard the PSD won't fit between the Chev frame rails anyways...

I'd be more worried about the cost of anti-rejection drugs you would need to give the body for that heart transplant. :doah:

Google: General Engine Products, AM General, maybe Optimizer 6500.

You'll find it.;)

I googled the heck out of it, every way I could think of (that sounds bad) :haha:, back when I was looking into swapping one into my Jimmy but, never could find pricing or a way to get a quote. If you have found pricing/distributor info, could ya post a link? Thanks!:D
