It is time for brakes on the Suburban so which brand is the best quality for the money? I’m putting 10-14k miles a year on the Suburban and I want them to last.

Powerstop got them on the wife's scion tc, 30ish k on them no noise, or warpage. I drive it like I stole it, I believe the wife does too.

fwiw still have the 1977 oem rotors on my k20

I've been using powerstop, centric and napa premium. I also opt for the coated rotors. Mag chloride here eats em before you can wear em out.

+1 for coated and rockauto has the “high carbon” for some applications also, I’ve been very pleased with those on my DD older Acura for 20k+, replaced the old ones due to warpage, and it gets driven hard.

I've been using the Raybestos coated lately and they have been good. I really like their EHT line of pads, no squeal and no dust.
