Will be buying my shocks this weekend, RS9000. Rancho has a shock for 0 - 2" and one for 2 1/2" - 4" of lift. I have a 2" front spring and a 2 1/2" rear shackle flip.

Which shock would you go with? I am thinking the 0 - 2 1/2 should be just fine.

Also, I have the Quad shock option on the front, would you run quad RS9000s?

TIA

Run the 2" and less up front and the 2.5"+ in the rear. All 4 shocks don't have to be the same. Just remember on installation what's what.;)

The few times I've actually found opinions (like 2?) on the quad system they weren't too impressed with the GM set-up and thought it better not to use it or worth the extra expense.

Id run the 2.5-4" kit. Thw shocks willbe onger so if you flex it out some the shock wont limit you.

Also screw the quad setup, way too much dampening, it isnt needed.

Be careful if you go with the 2.5"-4" shocks. You may not have enough room between you shock mounts to accomodate those shocks (i.e. you may bottom out the shocks during uptravel). That's why many people use Ford Superduty shock towers to relocate the upper shock mounts.

I dont think this will be an issue, there should be enough room...

I would go with the longer ones as there is more drop available. If you need ot space down the bumpstops so that you dont bottom out the shocks. When I did my fist lift I recall the shocks limiting downtrave a few inches. Fitting double aftermakert (large body shocks) took a ton of washers and a pretty long bolt and was way to stiff.
