Still chasing my torque convertor lock up issue so I ordered some parts, the dealership screwed up and gave me wrong part number to use. So, long story short ive got 2 of the same part, I need to send one of them back, but which one. Here are the 2 different solenoids, as you can see one has more wires than the other. which one should I use?

Do I have a one wire system or two?

The factory one should have both power and ground to the solenoid. Possibly the one you have that has the harness just gounds itself through the body of the solenoid, though kinda tough to tell from the pic. The other one is a splice in style, and universal to 700's

yea I figured all that. Im just wondering if the one with the 1 wire is the one I need to put in there or just splice the other.

Ive always been a bigger fan of the complete harness with the solenoid. Dont get me wrong i actually enjoy electrical repair or mods . As long as the solenoid clicks when you hook B(-) to the body and B(+) to the red wire, id run it.
