Need some reviews on what tach to run looking into buying an autometer tach just wondering if I can get some info on the ones you guys run.
I dont want to get a big one just one I can mount on steering column whos running one of those.

Are you running an ignition box?

I have a mini Sunpro tach and I had to get a tach adapter (#8920) to make it work with my MSD6a.

I know that auto gage also requires a tach adapter, but regular Auto Meters do not.

I love this auto meter, and it's 2 1/16 so it's not huge and in the way.

I would have gotten this if I wasn't trying to get something hooked up ASAP.

Here's another cool Auto meter that's slightly less expensive:

I like to watch my RPM's, especially when I'm on the highway; I also find a tach helpful for tuning/monitoring purposes on my ZZ4.

Not too big of a thing for someone to want a tachometer in their Blazer.

I use a 2 5/8 mini Autometer on my steering column. I have a tach cuz my speedo is 20mph off (gearing and tire size change). so I know what RPM equals which speed. I also can gauge my speedo somewhat. Above 40mph its almost exactly 20mph off, below that its 10-15mph off. Now I just use GPS. :D
