Like the thread title says, which way do I point these?

Martin

top of the tire points forward

Like a tractor tire. That's what I assumed, but wanted to double check.

a lot of guys run them backwards too so :dunno: preference I guess. they also look better pointed forward imho. I've seen it mentioned HERE I believe that guys that wheel on rocks like em backwards.

There are also guys who try to run the fronts one way and the rears the other, to keep one end from digging or something.

So yah, go with whatever feels best. Pointing forward seems to be the most common though. <----- coming from the guy who hasn't run anything more aggressive than BFG AT's

I have heard running them backwards can help with any weird wear. My buddy swaps his around every so often. :dunno:

Wonder if that is just because swapping them around would be equivalent to rotating them, unless you demount them every time.

if I had boggers I would not let them run . . . . . but rather roll along :haha:

lots of guys find mud they do tsl front and bogger rear . so they don't dig to china with all the front end weight.

I always assumed you mounted them so the tread made a 'V' to help clear the mud out the sides. Directional street tires are like that to clear water and prevent hydroplaning.

Tsl's steer better than Boggers. Boggers are basicly DOT approved paddles. Boggers also suck on side hills.

Boggers are bad ass. Had a buddy with some and he just put on where ever. Because he mounted thrm all wrong on the rims.

It's not just the direction of the lug. But each lug is scooped to dig forward.

Look closer at the front face of each lug next time you see one in good shape. They're dished one side.

Lots of guys cut the little lugs out but some folks around here will actually scoop the big lug like a paddle tire. Guess it helps with this tacky clay here more than in other types of mud.

I've always wanted a tsl front & bogger rear tire comb. I just like the way they look, plus its easier on front end parts.
