lately ive been looking at the different types of weld on beadlocks. the ones that sit on the outside of the rim and the ones that drop in.
which ones are better overall as far as strength and ease of welding.
ive been trying to deceide and i havnet really seen much talk about this
anybody wana shed some light?

PM -cybrfire- ( Kert ) of DIY4X. He is a vendor/fabricator here. Should shed some light on the subject.:D

Kert's (DIY4X) ;)

Inside the lip style if you're gonna mig weld. Take a flapper disk and clean up the weld so it's as flat as possible. They work like a charm, even when the loose nut behind the wheel gets a little crazy.

i was thinking the ones that drop into the center would be easier to weld since they self center themselves.
i have a guy in state that can make me a set for 150$ out of 1/4'' plate
