There is a version of a spur gear (thats what the 8274 uses) winch w/ 12K &15k lb ratings made and sold in South America. I posted a link to it on here, maybe a year ago??? I got the link from a post on Pirate. The title of my post was something like "8274 lovers, check this out". The search is better on Pirate so I'd try to hunt for it there, or maybe Google it. The info is out there, good luck.
