Which winch?

I have had GREAT results with my Warn HS9500i installed in a KMA bumper. I got my winch during a Xmas sale last year or the one before can't remember wich, any way talked 4WPW down to 749.00 to my door! I got the bumper first and paid 230 + 50 more for Drings and Blinkers and another 60 for shipping so 340 to my door for that. One cool thing about KMA he will make a bumper for your needs. I have a 3"body lift so I needed the buper to mount 3" higher than stock, he was able to do that. I also know another guy, I forgot who, he had Kyle out there at KMA make the ends taper up from the center like the ARB bumper on Toyotas.
The only issue with a 'hidden' type mount is it makes it tuff to spool the rope in nice and even. Hope this helps...

After much searching, I have found someone in Ca that will make bumpers for me that are SEC quality and appearance.
If I lived where you do, I would buy the SEC (if they ever go into production).
This is not an area you should go less than 100% in design and function.

Someone needs to suggest to that guy that he can sub-contract out his design. He will get some $$$ instead of everyone going elsewhere with his design in mind.....

I would choose the Ramsey RE series over any Warn.
the worm drive is better IMO
fewer parts and doesnt require a braking system
