Went to pick up a Windstar fan today, but the counter guy at the yard asked which one and I couldn't answer him so came home with nothing.

Here are the options he gave me:

Condenser/Radiator mtd. Cooling Fan
Fan Assm, ID F58H-AC
Fan Assm, ID F78H-AB thru AE
Fan Assm, ID F78H-BA

I copied these from the yard's parts inventory search. I searched for a 98 Windstar but get these options rather than a engine option.

So which one do I need?

Go look at them and find a good set, number doesn't matter. Just make sure you get the 2 plugs with them. Napa wants 17 and 10 bucks for the 2 plugs, I know cause I bought new fans and had to buy the plugs.

"Napa wants 17 and 10 bucks for the 2 plugs" Do you know a part number? I need to grab some plugs for my windstar fan.

thanks!

Got the fan this morning. It is only wired for a single speed on the big fan, but is the 2 speed motor. So even though I have about a foot of pigtail for the plug wiring I will still need to replace the big fan plug if I want to use both high and low speeds. The best part... $48.36 total.

EC 163 is the big plug and EC 27 is the small plug. If you buy a lot of stuff at napa try to bargain him down on the price. And I found that with my fan the big one would run on high speed no matter how I wired it up.
