I have the whinning in my speakers that go`s up and down with RPM`s.:(
What do I need to fix it? I saw a "filter" at Autozone..would that fix it?

Also do you know it the things you put inline with the antenna line , to bring in weak or distance stations work?
TIA

Yes a noise suppression filter will take care of the whine and yes a signal amp works well for bringing in distant stations than normally have poor reception.

A noise filter is just a bandaide. As said above, its probably a poor ground on the deck.

Did you run your power wire with your rca leads? it is best to run them on opposite sides of the car. This will cause the whine.

I wouldn't worry too much about power and signal cables running close together. If you use a chassis ground, and Im sure you do, your entire vehicle is carrying current. No, I do not intentionally run them together, but I dont get too bent out of shape if they have to be in close proximity either.

As much as the audio cable companies like to hype up the induced noise problem to sell high dollar cables, Ive yet to see anyone prove anything beyond a simple twisted pair RCA cable will reduce noise any significant amount.
