white smoke from oil filler cap?

there is white smoke coming out of the oil filler cap and a breather hose right behind it. a lot of the hoses and parts are unconnected. any ideas of what to do. diagrams for the hose set ups? or diagrams for all the component parts?

How much? A little oil vapor/blow by is to be expected.

Curious to see if you have finished diagnosing the problem? In the past, I have had that only happen suddenly when the rings break or a bad ring land.
