Mines not boat sided but the rockers up a couple inches. I just cut the bottoms of the door to fit.

Technically not boat-sided, but this is about as high as you can go without getting into the lower door hinges and getting into the window mechanism when it is rolled down. I cut about 4-5" off the bottom of the door for reference.

Really not that hard to do as I had a very small amount of experience with metal fab and welding when I did this.

Is the front fender welded to the slider or does it just flop around? I have been trying to figure that portion out.

It's welded....or was welded.....to the slider. After a couple of years and some hits the sheetmetal has torn above the weld seem and is no longer attached. I keep meaning to re-weld it, but the fender doesn't flop noticably.

The rear fenders are also welded directly to the tube and still intact, but there is more holding it on (all around the B pillar, etc...) versus just the 4" section of sheetmetal on the front fender.

I might try to make a little flange to use to 1/4X20 bolts to hold that piece of the fender in place. I still need to get the slider material first:o

On badass90k5's blazer, I took a piece of 1" by 3/16" and stood it on end and welded it to the slider, and it keeps the fender from floping out.
I will try and find a pic.
