Can you get parts for first gens from....? I havent checked places like autozone yet.. but I need a FULL bodymount kit, washers, bolts, and all. and a door handle for one side... cant remember which.... because LMC says N/A for them parts.

It just made me wonder if there was any other old truck resto parts places out there:dunno:

yeah I found brothers a little bit ago.... I like it:waytogo:

I've used brothers a few times. Used to be a lot more out there but has dropped of a bit. I've done pretty good on eBay parts too. Try classic industries as well.

YearOne.com

We used to get lots of parts from them for our muscle car before we sold it.

Yeah, rubber with all the bolts sounds like a good way to go! Mine didn't have the bolts...picked those up elsewhere.

The square washers for the radiator support weren't with my kit either , but I still had them. Some of the rubber kits came with them, which would have been nice to get all new hardware.

Since mine didn't come with bolts, I was also tempted to do the 1 inch body lift by ORD that came with the bolts: http://www.offroaddesign.com/catalog/oneinchlift.htm

Ultimately I didn't, but was thinking about it in case I wanted extra clearance for ease of working on certain things or a lil extra room for a bigger gas tank.

I got my kit from poly performance. 100 bucks got me everything I needed with new carriage bolts and all that. I don't notice a difference in vibration but the body sits nice and tight and rides nice. The hardest ones to replace we're up front under the core support. A couple were also stuck under the tub but air chisel fixed them right up.
