anyone tried repairing these? Mine don't retract. They only are there so I don't get a ticket.

The ratchet locks were broke when I bought my blazer. I installed the center lap belts in the seats till I get my cage and 5pt in.

Mine suck also. Drivers sticks every 1/2". Have to pull it really slow. Sucks. The back side belts stangle the people using them. Anytime you hit a bump, they sink in the seat and the belt traps you there. I need all new belts also. Tan, who has some.

They are certainly repairable but it's so easy to find used ones that's what I would do.

I wish they were easy to find! I have had tons of trouble finding a good set. Still waiting to hear back from somebody on a supposed "perfect" set. Had a set sent to me but they got stolen in shipping! :doah:

Mine retract pretty good... The only problem with mine is where they bolt in on the bottom is completely rusted out:haha:

What`s about LMC truck ? There y can buy new belts.

I had the LMC ones, They are not the same, the retractor part doesnt match up the existing spot, itll bolt up but there will be a hole left over in the molding and the part that goes between the seat and center console isnt that stiff and its about 2-3" too short. so you have to fight to get the seat belt latched. I ended up getting an OEM Used set from a member here.

I got the ones in my truck from julianos.com has anyone tried those in the k5s? I know a friend of mine had em in his K5, but he had non-stock seating so I dont know if they would work for those with stock style seats.

My DS one stopped retracting right. I lubed the mechanism behind that door button and it has worked fine for a couple of years now. Don't know this will help, but pretty easy to try.
