Who has 12.5" tires on 8" wheels?

Who has 12.5\" tires on 8\" wheels?

Can I put 35x12.5x15 tires on 15x8 rims without any problems? All the tire mnfrs say 8.5" is the narrowest wheel to run. I seem to remember guys on here running 8" wheels with this tire combo. Should I get 15x10 wheels instead?

I do. The only thing is that the tire will wear more in the center.

i do 36x12.50 TSLs on 8.25s

I've had 33 and 35 inch 12.5's on 8 inch wheels. I liked them on 8's better than 10's. Never lost the bead, and had good footprints. You do wear a nice strip down the center on the highway .

42x15x15 on 15x8 @ 5-6 psi!

33x12.5x15 on 15x8 wheels here. Just like everyone else said, the tires wear in the center on the highway. I think the 8" wheel helps keep the tire tucked inside the fenders better too, if that's a concern for you.
