Who has a lifted Duramax? Power? Mileage?

I have wanted a Dmax ever since they came out. I wanted a 02 and was gonna race it, then lift it and put 38s on it. Then I decided to just save and buy a brand new 2005 or so. Well now I found a 02 that is a pretty good deal. It has 38s on it already. If I can get a new job within a few weeks and save up for a little bit, then get it. In the mean time, I thought id ask a few questions. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif


Who has a Duramax that is lifted? What year is it? Did you regear it? How is the power? Hows the mileage?

Where i used to work, the guy in the shop next door had a lifted D-max on 35's. Said he got about 16mpg on average empty.
