YEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!!!

Dan, I thought you didn't get any pics of this? Did someone just send that one to ya? It's an awesome shot, it reminds me of Steve Fox on the Rockpile at Moab last year!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

I thought I posted it up after I got the pic /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif. My mind isn't all here reciently (I think you knew that already). Some guy I didn't know came up to me and asked me for my address so he could send me a pic that he took. I got it about a week later. Nice to meet cool people that will do stuff like that.

The bad news is that a ranger on 31's and lockers (and no lift) made it up that hill and I didn't /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif...Too high of a CG and no front locker. I am hopping the 2nd gen springs up front settle some (and I'm going to go back to stock shackle length)...it sits a bit high right now.

I surprised how many people voted for "I'm Naked"...
Hummm...Man does that sound scarey... /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

Last year the Club I'm in..on a wheeling run in Ohio..
we had about 4 rigs flop/roll...
one Jeep was on it's side 3 times...
They were surprised when I flopped my rig.. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I did once...
Back in ummm99ish I was at Pismo for my anual Turkey Day stay. My son and I were just cruzin around out in hte dunes and blastin up comp hill stuff like that. Started heading back on the sand Hwy saw some cool looking hills to climb...whent up the hill thru the V only to find a 40Ft drop off bowl /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif my front end droped into the hole /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif Pucker facter hit the roof so I turned to the left and punched it /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif trying to make it out of the bowl my rig started sliding sideways(to the right) as I was trying to get out. punched it somemore /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif the passenger side dug in and tiped me onto the pass side. My son was strapped in the front pass seat looking out his window all you can see is sand. He turned and looked at me and said. What are we gonna do now? I had NO IDEA what to say! So I told him to just sit tight while I clib out and look for some one to help me( Oh ya I was wheelin alone /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif)
So I climb out Dukes Of Hazzard style and I see a quad heading my way. I wave y arms and he came over.
My rig was on it's side but not on the sheet metal, the tires were dug into the side of the bowl far enough(too much throttel)that they supported the weight of my rig and kept it from litterally laying on it side.
Anyway..I start talking to htis dude to figure out what I am gonna do next then I see my son WALKING AROUND INSIDE MY RIG!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH NO I said STAY PUT!!!!! My kids never listen too me! SO I climed up on the drivers side to pull him out and my rig sarted moving /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gifI go the boy out and the quad dude and I climbed back on my rig and bounce bounce bounce untill it floopped back on all 4.......few /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I got it started thru it in reverce and PUNCHED IT! All the wayt to the bottom of the bowl and out the other side in revearse. I was NOT going to stop..
I got drunk that night /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

This past summer I spent a lot of time scouting trails because I didn't have school. This was before my lockers but after my lift.

I found a pretty good offcamber (trail washout) with the driver's side uphill that it was obvious people had been avoiding. I decided I'd give it a whirl even though I was running 14psi because of all the sand I'd been running that day. The first try I slid down the offcamber and put my mirror into the bank and monkeyed up my wheelwell trim. I backed out and then removed all the tree roots from the bank.

The second try I got a lot further using the brake and stupid pedal at the same time to keep the uphill tires from spinning but I got to this "little" kicker (tree stump partially uncovered) and the left front spun madly.

The third try I decided I'd roll the throttle on once I got to the top of the kicker. Well, it worked but then I got stuck with my left front way up in the air, right rear down in the bottom of the gulley, and the other two balancing the truck.

Using the stupid pedal and the brake pedal I backed up until I ran into the bank with my right taillight. The truck is barely running because of the severe angle (driverside tire 2.5' off the ground) with the right rear tire way down in the gulley and loaded to the max. With liberal application of the stupid pedal and brake I go forward. The front of the truck slams down on the ground (well, that's what it felt like), the right rear is in the air, and I kept on going. Not even a second later the truck slides down the offcamber, hits another stump and peels the driver front tire off the wheel and run my A-pillar into the bank (a lot of dirt came in the truck at this point). I kept on going until I got to flat ground and changed my tire.

I spent the entire month of August trying to find that trail again so I could take the Jeepers in the club there. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

Someday I'll find that trail again. Someday. Just for the Jeepers. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

Had my old blazer on its side a couple of times. Always just a slow flop as I was trying to crawl.

Last club run we had a guy get a little to friendly with the ditch. Had him back over in just a couple of min.

Here is a good one of a racer in our club, the second year in a row at the same event. Both times he planted the front end. Don't have pics of the first year.

I've put my Burb on it's side once, before the body swap.
Put my off road wrecker on it's side three times in the Army (On purpose once)
Hmmm, put a taurus wagon on it's lid once too, endoed it though to get there, but I wasn't driving only along for the ride. (run off the road by a drunk) /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

Well over the summer my buddy and I took his dads jeep up to the pinenuts and wanted to do some trail riding after football practice. We took his dad's 45 jeep and headed out. We saw this one climb that looked like an intermedate type of climb so we thought we would give it a shot. He was the one driving at the time and i was riding passenger. We started up this run and we were getting up it pretty easily until his jeep stalled. So were just hangin out on this hill about 3/4 of the way up thinkin of what we were gonna do. he kept tryin to start it but it wouldnt start. Then he tried takin it out of gear but it was jammed or somethin. Then finnaly he gives the stick shift a good tug, and it comes out of gear, now we are rollin down this steep part of the hill backwards, and the damn brakes go out so we cant stop. He tried putting back into gear but it wouldnt budge, then we hit a huge hole with the front passenger tire and over we went. We rolled that jeep 3 and 1/4 times before it came to a stop. He didnt get hurt and all i got was 6 staples in the head and a dislocated ring finger. That was a thriller, and the first roll overs i have been in. So i guess this falls under the hard core multiple roll catagory or just plain stupid catagory.

No that deserves it's own catagory:

Russ on CB: Hey Juan, "I'm higher than you are, na, na, nah, na, na...".
Juan on CB: "Oh, really, well not for long... what? Your getting out?..."
15 seconds later... "OH CRAP!" <crunch>

/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I've flopped 3 times now but have yet to go over, 1 was almost on the lid, the tipped back... Lots of times laid over into things on 2 tires though, but wouldn't call that a real flop...

I did, but somehow it didn't do anything to the body.. muddy banks are good for something I guess. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

What happened was a buddy of mine were out in the mountains when we found a couple real steep old logging trails. He took off in his very much not stock Tracker and I followed him up. My passengers had never been wheeling before so the expression on their faces was classic to say the least. There were a few hill climbs where they were saying "Dude, it's gonna go over backwards!!"

After we cruised around a bit we decided to head home.. on the way down the last steep hill I caught an edge with my passenger side front and the rear end just kinda came up and I looked out the window and watched the ground come up at me. We crawled out and I checked out the damage and tried to figure out how to get it back on all 4's... after an hour or so we finally got it back on 3 when I remembered I hadnt taken any pics. /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

This is the only one I got, and all it looks like is crappy flex pic but it was a fun weekend!
