who has gone through a set of irock\'s?

what size and how many miles did you get out of them?

Re: who has gone through a set of irock\'s?

i dont think anyone has gone through a set but ive only heard the best about them and there pretty cheap. from what i hear they do good everywhere- mud, snow, trails, rocks. there kinda soft so maybe not 2 great on teh street.

Kind of hard to get real mileage numbers out of true offroad tires. Since most offroad tires see more dirt than anything else. And if they do see both, a lot of times... 5 miles of offroad can equal who knows how much road driving.

alright cool thanks alot, im planning to drive my rig to the trails so id like to get decent miles out of them, pluse i use my truck for when i do my construction job, so it will get about 70/30 street/trail use

I run them. I have had them on since spring and have driven them (unfortunately) mostly on the street due to my 4wd being busted all summer. They also drove the 1200 or so miles to Moab and back this Oct. and I would say they are at about 50% tread now. I have the 36x13.5x15's and they are unreal off-road. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif I would recommend them to anyone.

awsome looks like im set on a set of 42's

Re: who has gone through a set of irock\'s?

Wasn't someone on this board complaining about them?

A friend has them on his jeep, only been out wheeling twice on them but much sucess both times. We were climbing some rocks and they didn't flex so hot onn the sidewalls. Could be because they are new and jeeps are light.

36/13.5 and we were running around 10PSI

Re: who has gone through a set of irock\'s?

The sidewall flex does get better with use and I'm sure that the weight of our vehicles helps with that but I'll admit there are a lot of tires out there that will bulge better. I do think that you can run these tires at a lower pressure though due to this fact.

As for the 42's as soon as I saw them I felt ripped off with my tires. The tread depth is HUGE on the 42's and the sidewall lugs are at least twice as large as mine. I wanted them bad. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif I think you will be a happy man with those tires. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
