who has mounted the CUCV rear tow point on stock truck?

I got the 88 suburban and bought the rear CUCV shackle/tow point things off ebay. Who has installed them and kept their factory hitch as well. Maybe I'm seeing things but I don't see how they both can be installed Any pics of help would be great.

Something will have to be modified. The hitch or the shackle mounts.

A civilian trailer hitch and those mounts has been done and there's 3 ways to do it.

-Modify the hitch or the mount.

-Find a different hitch that fits around the mount. Apparently there are some that have been made in the past 30+ years that just happen to fit around the mounts. I have no clue which they are.

-Custom make a hitch. My ex-FIL and I did this and it ended up turning out great.

eh wasn't looking to cut up the hitch in these cold temps. I did a search on various hitches and those mounts and wasn't successful either. Maybe I'll just resell them and buy the hitch shackle mount clevis thing that slides in and build a bumper next spring.
