How well does it work? Will it air up all 4 in say 20mins(33x12.5x15)?
Im sure its too small to do much else..But there only $70.

Think York. Yes, I know, in the end it'll cost a bit more, maybe twice that $70 if you scrounge. But the engine-driven compressors are SOO much better...

I have one, and it will air up my 35" and my buddies 32" no problem, but it does get hot.

What happened to those ones from a few years back that were selling for something ridiculous like $20? Anyone know if those are still around?

As I recall they actually worked pretty good, and quite a few people here grabbed some.

I put together my york set up for about $100, scrounge the junkyards and with a little creative engineering you will have a sweet setup.

My parts list:
Freshly rebuilt york off a '75 volvo: $12
Air Brake tank from Peterbuilt: $10 (came with horn :D)
Pressure switch w/ unloader: $45
Misc fittings/hose/couplers: $25

Yes they were and it was $25 I think I bought like 10 of them and sent them out still have two that I use all the time they aren't super fast but they work.

I have one of these compressors courtesy of Costco. Works fine for 33x12.5 tires. York would be preferable but I'm short on time, $ and fortitude to take on another fab project for now.

I have had one of those for a few years now and it will air up my 37's without issues. I have used it to air up my 37's and a friends 36's after a run and it only took about 30 minutes.

That is the same compressor that was being closed out for 25.00 a while back. They suck! I have a bunch of them. Power switches went out on two of them. The ends broke on three of them. One just stopped working one day. If you had three or four of them and you had them wires sequencialy(sp) so that they would operate, one at a time, or alternate between uses, you should be ok. Mabey I am just rough with my stuff though.
