Basically, I am looking for some pointers about selling a truck on ebay. I've never done it, and any help would be appreciated. I took a bunch of detailed pictures and am going to list the truck as accurately as possible, but that's all I've got. Thanks folks!

I have done 2 vehicles like this, 1st...represent the vehicle honestly, and list any major issues or work it needs to prevent a dispute in the future, 2nd...put in a reserve!
Decide what is your least you'll take for it, and it will show on the bidding to the bidders.
If you don't get a bid high enough, and you have some active bidding going on, you will probably recieve an email asking what your minimum is and they will make an offer accordingly, so keep that in mind.

Ebay will also have a sale on listings, but I'm not sure if that includes vehicles or not?

Dave, what did you start your vehicles at, and did you have a buy it now? I've read a few times that the starting price should be 10% of the reserve, and I can see the reasoning behind it.

Make sure the title is clear. Nothing in the buyer part of the title. Once someone signs as buyer they must title it or you will have to get a duplicate.

I sold my 5th wheel on eBay. I thought of the least I would take and put my reserve $1k under that figuring I would take up to that much loss as long as it sold. The other thing I find is people are more willing to bid for something and against others if they see the reserve come off at a reasonable amount. I wanted 10K for my camper and put my reserve for 9K. I did not put a starting price either. Once the reserve came off the bidding went crazy and went up to $12,300! That was a surprise for sure. Sometimes when you put to many limits on the buyers it stymies their want to bid.

I have sold over 300 items on eBay but only that one camper and 3 KTM dirt bikes as far as vehicles go. I know using this approach always got me active bidding and what I felt was a good selling price.

I didn't do a buy it now on either vehicle...one sale was for my 85 C20...I started at $500, I think there were about 20 bids (mostly 2 bidders) and it got up to 3250....my reserve was 3500. He was from Ohio, and offered me the 3500 and he picked it up at my house. I think my auction was for 7 days.

I'm starting at 1000, reserve is 4300, buy it now is 7500. Hopefully it works out....
