im due for a new battery, if i didnt live on a hill i wouldnt drive my truck, i have been roll starting it everywhere i go :D. i remember summit had a good deal about a year back?

I know Costco has a good deal on the red or blue. I don't know off hand how much but they are cheaper. Autozone has a better battery than the Optima yellow in warranty terms but it doesn't have double posts. I bought mine from autozone for $60. I have heard of people complaining about red tops from costco but I don't know if Optima makes a different battery for Costco.

ill probialy be from costco from looking at their price, what complaints did you hear? my friend just quit autozone i shoulda got it then, dam

I honestly wouldn't waste my money on an optima battery right now. The majority of optimas that leave our shelves at work (advance auto) are defect swaps...Either get a regular ol autocraft titanium or something along those lines or look into odyessy(sp) batteries. No point in wastin 130$ on a redtop right now when a 65$ autocraft titanium will last you longer and probably do everything you are looking for out of the optima.

how can u tell if it is a defect swap or a new battery? why are they not making new batteries?

The only problem I ever had with my yellow top is the side post pulled out of it on the last day of mine warranty. Autozone exchanged it for free though.
