who here has atleast 200,000 miles or more?

Good thing these inferior American made vehicles don't hold up like Toyotas and the other import stuff........

My girls s-10 just turned 240,000 and doesn't use oil or smoke and just passed emissions with flying colors but is being retired for a '90 k5 with 66,000 original, probably won't last more than another 30 years :D

I had upper 200k miles on my first '88 K5 with the original 350, and it ran fine. I don't know the motor status, but I saw it around town every now and then until about a year or so ago.

I sold an '88 Camaro with over 300k on it years ago... It was a weak little 2.8 that had 250k on it, but ran good. The new owner blew it a week later.

In no order just off the top of my head. I took a bit of pride in my high milage vehicles so I remember what they had when sold or parked.

90 suburban 266k at least 1 tranny ran like a top, sold to my baby bro
94 GMC 2500 312k 3 trannys smoked and very weak, in the back 40
97 GMC 1500 234k runs like a top no oil leaks or burning current DD
91 s10 2wd 253k engine swap 314k when i sold it
85 jeep cherokee 2.8 320k all original NO POWER lots of smoke when I sold it
1984 K5 6.2 426k when I sold it I swapped in a sm465 and 3/4t axles just after I bought it
87 ford f250 6.9 diesel 360k no power, smoked:haha: leaked and burnt oil faster than a siv. God I hated that truck.

I have had LOTS of vehicles with high milage but theres 2 I didnt own that take the cake.

my grandpas 74 dodge 3/4t 2wd has 514k still runs but dont hardly every get used
And my dads uncle had a (87 bodystyle) ford f350 with the first gen powerstroke it had over 600k on it. He used it to haul horses all over the united states.

Now most of these had high milage when I got them. theres only 3 that I am sure was original. the 97 I bought from my work have all the receips on services and repairs. It was drove by a little old man that did maintainance at the disposal pits. the 85 cherokee had 26k on it when my mother bought it when she gave it to me it had 190k. And the 94 GMC 2500 my dad bought with 44k and gave it to me at 299k. I babied that truck just to get as many miles as I could out of it. It actualy still runs but smokes bad and wont go faster than about 30mph.

I had 223,551 on my 2.8 in the 'ol S10 when it kicked it. Changed the clutch and rear end (backing plates rotted off, had another rear kicking around, was easier than changing backing plates) Ran good until I got mad and beat on it one day, ended up taking out the bottom end. :doah:

And people claim those old 2.8's are junk lol I have had several over 200k my S10 my cherokee and a few fwd cars not worth mentioning. But only the S10 had any power to speak of, and that was only after the engine swap. The engine I put in my S10 was built up by a guy for a fiero project he was working on but the car burnt up b4 he got the engine in. It was suposed to be around 300hp on paper, never dynoed it but it was quick. I used the factory TBI rather than the holly 4bbl he had for it, so in my application it was probably less than 300 hp. Still it was a fun truck to drive.

232,900 on my '95 Yukon GT.
Bought it with 57,000 on it.
Original engine (intake gasket around 150,000.)
Uses about 1/2 qt of oil per 3000 mile oil change.
Tranny crapped out and replaced at 80,000.
All other running gear still original.

Still runs like a champ and is my DD.
