Guys thanks a lot for the coments and the articles you posted, im doing 4.11 on my axles and man was the rear axle a ton of fun damn carrier pin was wasted and i had to take the axle out and give it a good pair of whams with a sledge hammer and as soon as i had half of it out i cut its ass off... and the spider gears got busted, so im between getting a detroit true track or getting new spider gears and welding them, whats your opinion???

is there a good guide or how to manuel or video out there? My buddy and I are pretty mechanically inclined but niether of us have changed gears in a axle before.

Its a very well made video if you can find it for $30 its worth it. I rented it way before I ever needed it and made a copy for myself.
