Thanks. How long is a Sub? There's 30 ft. of bed, the camper is about 11' 4", so that leaves 18' 8" with my setup.

bridging is just a piece of 2 inch wide 3/16 flat steel that runs under each frame rail and hands down about 2 inches. You weld square tubing to the frame about 18 inches apart and about 2 inches down. The flat steel hangs on the square tubing (like on an engine hoist but downside up) and joins directly to the frame on each end.

years ago I had a crew-cab dually chevy, hooked to a 21 foot 5th wheel and my 20 foot jet boat behind that...I think it was about 74' feet long, just over the state limit. There are several around now. A friend of mine did his several years ago, and was probably one of the first if not the first. Makes a nice setup. Another plus is that the camper is lower than if it was in the truck, so there's less wind drag. I'd like to get a newer camper sometime. It's old but has all the right equipment for the family. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

well this isnt really fare because I dont do it all the time but last weekend I hauled a load from vegas to vancouver wa. that measured at 70 ft and it amazingly towed very good.
it was my cummins dodge pulling my enclosed trailer with my truggy inside and a couple of quads and all my tools plus 2 jet skis on a trailer behind that.

thank god that the scales were closed at the california border because I know I was way over weight. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
