Who Hits their hose??

Noooooo Don't!!!
I have heard of tires rubbing on box hoses that are tapped out the side, Is it true?
I also have seen three or so different boxes that are tapped in different places? Is there a real right place or are there several? I know of the caps and just what I see on Psc, Redneck. So whats the deal?

The high flex rigs with large tires do this. I have the West Texas Offroad box and the ports is 1 on top of the box and 1 on the bottom almost. Out of the way of tire touching.

If i where to do it i would get the cap from www.jkwoffroad.com and send him my top cap to be ported. Costs money but keeps everything simple and out of the way.

I have the JKWOffroad cap and I am porting my own top cap. No way I am gonna remove a hose with the tire. Might catch it with anything else though .
