Who is running a tablet in there rig?

Like the title said, who is running a tablet, im trying to decide on mounting for my tab A 10.1.

General idea is to be able to run mapping and music from it. Im just stuck on what mount to get and where to mount it.

If you have some pics or advice post it up!
I run a cell phone in mine, does that count?

My buddy uses a RAM mount that anchors on the front a passenger seat bolt. Works damn well for him, he's tall and has arms like a yeti so he can reach it well. It's out of the passengers way pretty well in his Jeep.

I was going to get an iPad and put it on a Ram mount X-grip, but after looking at iPads I decided to go a different route. The iPad 4th gen is pretty much tapped out for software updates, and I don’t want to spend a ton of money on something that is already obsolete like my iPod Touch is. There are a few apps that won’t run on the older software. After I figured that out I realized my phone is almost 3 years old and I’m eligible for an upgrade. So here’s my plan now... I’m going to upgrade to an iPhone 7 Plus which is still an older model but should support a few years of software updates. It won’t be as big of a screen as a tablet but it’s still pretty good sized. I have an x-grip and I’ll bluetooth it through the stereo. Don’t know if my rambling helped but I thought I’d put in my .02

Check out the Scosche Magic Mount. Can be found on Amazon as well as the automotive stereo section at Walmart. Several different styles available. I actually have a window suction cup style that is suctioned a round plastic disc that is 3m taped to my Silverado’s dash. I got the wrong one and happened to have the disc from an old GPS so I rolled with it. I found a different 3M tape style of Magic Mount in a car in Walmart parking lot. The tape was toast so I cleaned it up, sanitized it, and took some fresh tape, and mounted it in my wife’s car. You stick a thin metal plate to the back of your phone (otterbox for us) and it mounts via magnet.

These things are awesome! Very strong hold with both styles. My brother has the style that fits in an AC vent in his Charger and runs his full size iPad on it with no issues. He had something that mounted in the CD slot that was junk.
