Local yard has a coupe Dana rears in vans. They are 2003 and up, Dana 60 semi and Dana 70 full float. Both are dics and have posi's. The 70 has 4.10s, thinking of snagging it for my truck, and taking the 60's posi to put in a front 60. Couldn't find either axle in the Dana expert, only a front (:eek1:) axle with 5.13s. Guessing both gonna be T/Ls. Oh and they are GM vans.

I think I had a cover off 1 and they had gov-loc in the gm versions . . . . :eek1:

cant say for sure .

I got a line on a dodge 70 with 4.10 and power lock for sure .

I posted on pirate and someone said the same thing. But I looked at the expert again, (first time was on a dumb phone) and says L/S with an Eaton. If I have time after work tomorrow gonna pull a cover. Also when I turned one axle, it felt like the other was turning as well, can feel a difference when only one axle or both turns.

Figures.....Looks like if I want a posi need to look in the F section and Dodge.....

I think the carrier has a weird offset as well on the Super 70. There was a guy on Pirate that put an ARB in his and one axle was too short and the other was too long.

Not gonna mess with it. Pulled cover and looks like a govbomb from a 10 bolt. Plus would have to find 35 spline side gears to work in a front. So for now gonna run open, and continue looking for a posi. I did find a T/L in a Dodge 60 rear....

tons of guys have good luck with lock-rights in the front 60's .

my buddy poped a 30 spline stub in his and no problems with the lock-right unit. 38" tsl/sx tires built 400sbc nv4500 .

Looking for cheap lol....For now thinking of running the HP44, still need to get parts for the 60. right now I need a friggin motor for the truck...:angry1:

350 Vortec. Lantz's has at least one for $350. Love to put 454 in it, but haven't found out how hard/easy it is to do...or the whole setup. But I've had the truck going on 4 months, and only got to drive it for a week maybe. Got most the parts to SAS it, but be whole heck of a lot easier to swap motors while sitting low rather than lifted.....

Lol be finding some good stuff now!!!! I'd love to find a complete truck with a 454 so I have everything I need. Just money is the issue, I don't have any. I sold anything I had worth anything years ago when lost my job. But to KISS, planning on getting the motor from Lantz's unless I can find one cheaper. Also the easiest swap...But always wanted a CCSB SAS'd with a 454 5-speed on 38s :D
