Who makes a beast 5 speed for around 650-750 ftlbs of torque?

I never knew they had coolers to go between the blower and manifold.

And I'm well aware it will be more money than I expect lol.

I may just grab a 9in from the junkyard and put the proper brackets on it when the time comes.

And as far as cage and NHRA rules go, the thing isnt going to be at the track much more than that first what will it run pass. That will probably be it.
Then who really cares about running a 10 second quarter? I would just build the engine at the limit of the TKO and you will be more than pleased. Especially with the 5 speeds low first gear and closer gears.

If your running BFG TA's you won't even hook up with 300 hp.

I think you would be much happier with updating the suspension, steering and brakes so that it drives like a new car. I wold recommend a hydroboost.

A decent amount of power in a sloppy car isn't any fun.

Way ahead of you lol. Eibachs, new shocks, boxed control arms, tubular uppers, new steering, and full poly bushings are already going in.

Plus its got the F41 suspension options which means chassis stiffeners and good thick solid swaybars stock.
